Banana Chocolate chip muffins

You should make these ASAP. They are unbelievably amazing and have so much flavor for being low fat! The macros for 1 muffin: 172 calories, 2.4g fat, 36g carbs, 4g protein. These are great for a pre-workout or post-workout snack, on the go or as a jumpstart to your day! This recipe makes 12 muffins. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do, they taste similar to a banana bread with a hint of sweetness!


Ingredients:
- 1 cup mashed banana
- 2/3 cup honey
-2 egg whites (4 tbsp.)
-2 tbsp. nonfat greek yogurt
-2 tbsp. unsweetened applesauce
-1 tsp vanilla
-1 cup whole wheat flour
-3/4 cup oat flour
-dash salt
-1 tsp baking soda
-2 tbsp. cinnamon
-Dark chocolate chips (I put 3-4 on top of each muffin)


Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350
-Mix together dry ingredients, in a separate bowl mix wet ingredients- combine and mix until everything is combined, make sure you don't over mix or they will become tough.
-Spray muffin/cupcake pan with nonstick cooking spray
-Drop dough into the muffin tin, evenly distributed, put a few chocolate chips on top of each muffin.
- Cook for 15 minutes (to check, stick a toothpick in the center- but mine were done by 13 minutes)
