Protein Waffles

Hello Everyone! It's been a crazy week, today is a day to take time to relax and focus on a wonderful week filled with goals and accomplishments.  Yesterday, I bought a mini waffle maker (Kroger for $10.00 and it matches my Keurig; it's aqua! :) ) So I decided to use it to make protein waffles. This Can also be used as a pancake mix, you don't have to have a waffle maker.

Ingredients:
-1 scoop protein powder (I used PEScience snickerdoodle flavor)
-1 tsp vanilla
-1/4 tsp cinnamon
-1/4 tsp baking powder
-1/4 cup egg whites
-1 TBSP water (add more to perfect your consistency, it's always different)

Directions:
-
Mix all ingredients together, stir until there are no clumps and it's a pancake mix consistency.
-pour into heated waffle maker for about 30 seconds (if using as a pancake mix, pour the mix onto hot skillet and when it starts to bubble- flip! just like a normal pancake)
-Top with toppings of your choice! Shown: Dark chocolate chips with drizzled Crazy Richards natural peanut butter! I added a hint of sugar free syrup as well.
Makes 1 serving.
Macros for plain waffles without toppings: 116 calories per serving, 25g protein, 1 carb, 2g fat
Enjoy!
